We counsel companies and individuals to navigate conflicts and overcome obstacles.  These can involve commercial litigation, governmental and internal investigations, deal and transaction negotiations, and non-traditional dispute resolution.  We often advise on issues of technology, finance, intellectual property, art, sports, entertainment, and media.

We handle all aspects of trials, hearings and appeals. We work in trial and appellate courts, including oral argument, witness examination, taking and defending depositions, drafting and filing of briefs, and settling of judgments. We utilize alternative dispute resolution formats including mediation. We handle large-scale investigations, including interviews, issue analysis and investigation strategy. 

We have practiced in state and federal courts and have represented clients in connection with United States Attorney’s Office, Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Ontario Securities Commission, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, New York County District Attorney’s Office and New York State Attorney General’s Office investigations. 

We also frequently advise and assist start-ups and other entrepreneurial projects.
